ULTRA-CRUISE KING-PIN TO BALL-JOINT CONVERSION
Available for 1949-53 Ford & Mercury passenger cars
Developed in 1996, the Jamco Ultra-Cruise kit was the first kit of its kind to convert the OEM Kingpin suspension over to Balljoints. The kit also includes a late model factory forged Disc Brake Spindle that gives you an 11", one inch thick, vented Rotor for maximum stopping power. These kits are all bolt-on and rated Level 1 (Average mechanical ability) for their ease of installation.The Jamco Ultra-Cruise kits are available exclusively for the 1949 through 1953 Ford and Mercury passenger cars (more coming). Jamco developed the Low-Profile Spring kits in 1988 by reformulating
the OEM Coil and Leaf Springs specifications to provide a new Spring
with a new ride height stance. This new formula not only lowered the
car, but in most cases, gave the car owner a better and more stable
ride to go along with the "cool dropped look!" For those that want that
"SLAMMED" look, you can combine the Low-Profile Coil with dropped Spindles*
for maximum low! The kits come in a Base kit (Coils only), Base Plus
kit (Coils plus Bushings) and the Deluxe kit. This kit provides Gas
Shocks matched to the new lowered stance to provide the ultimate in
ride and performance. In most cases, the Deluxe kit also provides new
Sway Bar Bushings and shorter Bump Stops* for the lower Control Arm.

Jamco Low-Profile Leaf Spring kits were also developed in 1988. By reformulating the Main Leaf Specification as well as the accompaning springs, Jamco is able to lower most vehicles up to 4" from the OEM stock ride height specification. This means that you can lower your car and still carry passengers or "EXTRA" beer in the trunk! The Jamco Low-Profile Leaf Spring kits come in three versions. Base Leaf kit (Leaf Springs only); Base Leaf Plus kit (Leaf Springs plus Poly Bushings) and the Deluxe Leaf Spring kit (includes everything in the Base Plus kit, plus New Shackles, New U-Bolts and Gas Shocks matched to the drop for maximum "Ride-A-Bility."
